Jeff Auman is in his 21st season with the Aeros and his 18th as General Manager. He began as an intern with the Canton-Akron Indians before being hired full-time as the Business Manager in 1991. Jeff was promoted to Assistant General Manager following that season and was named General Manager prior to the 1994 season. He was named Vice President in 1995 and earned the title of Executive Vice President after the highly successful 1998 season.

Jeff graduated from Dover High School and earned a degree in Business Administration from Ashland University, where he majored in Management with a dual minor in Marketing and Accounting.

As Executive Vice President and General Manager, Jeff is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the organization, as well as making all business and financial decisions. He works closely with the Cleveland Indians organization, the Eastern League and the National Association of Professional Baseball Leagues on topics relating to the Player Development Contract, the Professional Baseball Agreement, and other baseball-related issues.

In his free time, Jeff enjoys working out and hiking. He is also an avid auto racing fan and diehard supporter of Tennessee Volunteers sports.
