Calvin started with the Aeros in March of 2008. He was born and raised in New Philadelphia, OH and is a proud graduate of Bowling Green State University. His previous work experience includes time with the Lakeland Tigers (2002), Brevard County Manatees (2003-05), and the Danville Braves (2005-07). Calvin is involved in many facets of the organization, including corporate sponsorship sales, promotions, game presentation, organizing the year round internship programs, pulling tarp, and bringing power all day every day. He is a lifelong (i.e. tortured) Cleveland sports fan. The Indians, Browns, and Cavs have caused him more pain than a 12th century dungeon master. He also cheers on the Ohio State Buckeyes as long as they aren't playing the Bowling Green Falcons. Calvin's favorite foods are chicken parmesan and his wife's homemade cheesy potato soup. His favorite TV shows include Seinfeld, The Simpsons, Fringe, The Office, 30 Rock, and Rescue Me. Calvin's movies of choice are Dumb and Dumber, The Big Lebowski, Inception, Slap Shot, and Major League. When he's not helping to make the Akron Aeros the premier family entertainment destination in Northeast Ohio, Calvin enjoys grilling out, fishing, listening to music, exercising, working on projects around his house, and hanging out with friends and family. He currently resides in Stow with his wife Jessica, their dog Brownie, and two cats, Jinx and Baby.
