Whether it's speaking at a local school, visiting a nearby hospital, or "Orbit" dancing in a community parade, the Aeros have made a committment to becoming a fixture in the community and visible for twelve months a year. The Aeros sponsor a number of charitable events which benefit Akron Aeros Charities.

Aeros Annual Winter Warm-Up Party
Scheduled each January and including the introduction of the Aeros newest manager and future players, the event is designed for the Aeros faithful to keep in mind that baseball is just around the corner.

Annual Canal Park Home Run Trot
Benefitting both Akron Aeros Charities and Juvenille Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF), this run/walk begins and ends at Main Street. Held each April, exciting street activities, great food, wonderful gifts, and exercise are all part of the morning's festivities.
